Kids Church Coordinator

River & Way Church is looking for someone to steward and care for children in our Kids Church space. The ideal candidate will be someone who has a heart for children and desires to teach them more about Jesus. This individual must be a follower of Jesus, growing in their faith, and passionate about serving Jesus's church.

The Kids Church Coordinator will coordinate and facilitate Kids Church at River & Way at our "All Church" gathering on the first Sunday evening of the month. This position includes coordinating a paid staff, preparing and distributing a pre-made Bible curriculum for the kids workers, and maintaining a healthy and safe environment for children. This position has the potential to expand to our Midweek gatherings in the Fall, Winter, and Spring seasons that will take place on Tuesday evenings. 

This position is quarter-time and should be around 18 hours a month.

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities :

  • Meet for a monthly team meeting with River & Way leaders.

  • Coordinate and schedule the paid hourly staff for each Gathering.

  • Prepare curriculum and gathering schedule for ages Infant-1st grade.

  • Set up and tear down of Kid's Church space for each Gathering.

  • Properly check-in/out kids using Planning Center Check-ins

  • Follow up with new and existing families that are part of Kids Church.
